The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about an email scam making the rounds.
This email states it is from someone at DataQuest, but this is fake. Again, we have not authorized this and in no way support it. This is another scam and DataQuest has absolutely no part in it. May 8, 2017. It has come to our attention that DataQuest’s information has been used in some sort of “Mystery Shopper” scam.
The routing number is 031100209. Account number 38762924. The return address is from Francis Paul Landover MD. This email states it is from someone at DataQuest, but this is fake. Again, we have not authorized this and in no way support it. This is another scam and DataQuest has absolutely no part in it.
